Homey at all your locations, with the right flows and buttons everywhere
By default, Homey only tracks whether you are home or away. Drivie lets you add your other regular places too, like work, your parents’ house or a holiday home. This lets you trigger flows automatically when you arrive or leave. Drivie also updates your buttons automatically to match where you are.
More places than home
In Drivie you add all your important places yourself. You pick a spot on the map and set the radius around it, from 100 metres to 5 kilometres. You do not need to configure home manually: your home location is imported automatically from your Homey.
For each location, your Homey gets flow cards for arriving and leaving, as well as cards for the first phone to arrive and the last one to leave. That way you can turn down the heating only after everyone has left, or start up office devices as soon as the first person arrives.
The right buttons automatically per location
You decide which devices and flows you want to see for each location. For home you might pick different favourites than for your office or a weekend house. You make that selection once, and Drivie takes care of the rest.
As soon as you arrive somewhere, your phone or watch recognizes the location immediately. Your lock screen, widgets and smartwatch adapt automatically, showing the exact buttons you chose for that place. On iPhone they appear as a Live Activity right on your lock screen, and on Apple Watch or Wear OS they are ready on your wrist.
How you use it
- You arrive at work: Homey automatically runs your arrival flow to raise the blinds. The buttons for the office alarm and gate appear right on your watch and lock screen.
- The last person leaves home: Homey detects that everyone has gone, turns off the lights and starts the robot vacuum.
- Arriving at the holiday home: your phone detects the location and immediately shows lock screen buttons for the porch lights and the water heater, just as you configured them.
Your locations stay yours
Drivie keeps no location history on a server. Your locations travel between your phone and your Homey, over the same Athom connection the official Homey app uses. One exception: with Drivie Pro, on a ride home, your position and home location go through our small service at Cloudflare to Amazon Location Service at most three times per ride to work out the travel time, if a flow uses it and you agreed in the app. We do not keep them. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the switch Arrival time at home in the app’s settings.
