Delete account

Drivie has no account of its own with your name or email address. You sign in with your Homey account, and that belongs to Athom. Here is what Drivie does keep and how to erase it.

What Drivie keeps

Delete in the app

This is the quickest way. Everything goes in one go.

  1. Open Drivie and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
  3. Under This will be erased, read what goes, then tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm with Delete.

The app then erases the data about your phone on your Homey, the push registrations with our key service, on iPhone what Drivie put in iCloud, and everything on your phone itself. After that you are signed out.

One thing you do yourself: an app cannot remove your phone’s device from Homey. It will show as unavailable. Remove it in the Homey app.

If a step fails, for example because your Homey is offline, the app tells you. In that case, remove the device in the Homey app. That erases everything Drivie kept about your phone on your Homey.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, you can still do it.

Was your phone never added as a device? Then the app erases its sign-up on your Homey. Without the app, that stays until you remove the Drivie Companion.

Do you want us to erase everything the key service holds about your Drivie installation, including your Homey’s key? Send us your Drivie ID on the contact page. You find it in the settings of the Drivie Companion on your Homey.

Your Pro subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Does your Homey have Drivie Pro? The subscription keeps running until you cancel it. Cancel it first in the Drivie app on your Homey (the app’s Settings → Subscription), and only then remove the device in the Homey app. Without a linked phone you can no longer manage it there. If you can no longer get to it, sign in to Paddle’s customer portal at customer-portal.paddle.com with the email address you bought with, or send us a message on the contact page. More is in the refund policy.

Your Homey account

Your Homey account belongs to Athom, not to Drivie. Want to delete that too? In the app, use the link Delete Homey account. You can also go to accounts.athom.com yourself, sign in and choose Delete Account. Drivie cannot do this for you.
